Tourhub (opens in a new tab)

A Cardiff-based marketplace for comparing and booking multi-day tours from hundreds of operators worldwide. I work across the full stack, and rebuilt the customer-facing interface from the ground up.

    • Rebuilt the entire user interface by hand
    • Made it fast: mobile Lighthouse performance more than doubled, from the mid-30s to around 90
    • Introduced SMACSS architecture across the CSS and JavaScript
    • Helped introduce a design system built on design tokens
    • Work across the full stack, from the .NET back end to the interface
    • Use AI tooling to speed up day-to-day development

This site. Hand-built on ASP.NET Core MVC with vanilla CSS and JavaScript: a three-tier design token system, SMACSS and BEM throughout, and no front-end frameworks.
